We will help you with route planning incl. physical & digital cycling maps with easy and safe bike paths. We can also organize bike delivery or pickup services & daily luggage transfers.

We can meet at the bike shop so you that you can test your bikes and make any last minute adjustments. We will go over the route in more detail. We also highly recommend to use this opportunity to explore the beautiful city of Prague.
Your bike adventure begins. You will bike through and out of Prague enjoying the scenic view following the Vltava river approximately 55 km towards Melnik. This small town was once part of the Austrian monarchy and is located in the Central Bohemian region. You will explore the town’s castle and church or simply relax with a drink until the evening dinner.
From Mělník you will continue along the Elbe River passing historical Czech towns. An extra possibility on this day is to visit the massive Terezin Fortress which was used as concentration camp during the World War II period. Litomerice is one of the oldest Czech towns founded around the 10th century. Here you will have opportunity to visit the beautiful cathedral and take in the atmosphere of this historic Czech town which is known for its many famous surrounding vineyards.
Begin your 50km journey from Litomerice to Děčín, follow the banks of the Elbe River entering the Gate of Bohemia ("Porto Bohemica"). This pictersque valley begins near the town of Usti nad Labem. Děčín, famous for its great rock-climbing, you can visit the castle and admire the stunning view that overlooks the Elbe river.
You will ride 27 km from Děčín and along one of the most awe-inspiring bike paths through the lowest part of the Czech Republic where you feel like you are in the mountains. You will finish the day across the German border into the historic spa of Bad Schandau which lies east of the Elbe right on the edge of the Saxon Switzerland National Park. From Děčín as you travel closer to the German border you will see the crossover between the Czech and German cultures.
There are optional activities on this day including hiking up to admire the biggest natural rock bridge in Europe, Pravcicka Gate.
From Bad Schandau you will continue in the Elbe River to your final destination Dresden. Before your final destination you may want to visit Bastei Bridge or Konigstein Fortress! Upon arriving in Dresden you will learn that the city that has a long history, going through dramatic changes between WWII and 1989 as it has managed to regain importance as one of the cultural, educational, political and economic centres of former East Germany. Do not miss to visit the Zwinger Gallery, Virgin Mary church and the castle.

The Prague - Dresden bike trip is one of our favorite and most popular bike trips along the Elbe river. One of our experienced and local tour guides will lead you throughout your whole trip, giving you historical information about the towns throughout the trip. On the first day you will arrive in Prague. We will meet at the bike shop so you can test your bikes and make any small adjustments for your comfort. You will meet your guides and fellow travellers and we will present the route in more detail. We also highly recommend to use this opportunity to explore the beautiful city of Prague.
The second day of the trip your bike adventure begins. You will bike through and out of Prague enjoying the scenic view following the Vltava river approximately 50 km towards Melnik. You will have plenty of free time to explore the town’s castle and church or simply relax with a beer until the evening dinner.
On day three your adventure continues from Melnik to Litomerice. You will bike through these historical Czech towns and along the Elbe. Litomerice is one of the oldest Czech towns founded around the 10th century. Here you will have opportunity to visit the beautiful cathedral and take in the atmosphere of this historical Czech town.
The fourth day of your trip will take you around 50 km from Litomerice through the romantic Czech countryside towards Děčín. We will follow the banks of the Elbe River until we reach Děčín. Here you can visit the castle and admire the stunning view that overlooks the Labe river. In Děčín as you travel closer to the German border you will see the border between the Czech and German cultures.
On day 5 you will ride only about 25 km from Děčín and along one of the most awe-inspiring bike paths through the lowest part of the Czech Republic where you feel like you are in the mountains. You will finish the day across the German border into the historic spa of Bad Schandau which lies east of the Elbe right on the edge of the Saxon Switzerland National Park. There are optional activities on this day including hiking up to admire the biggest natural rock bridge in Europe, Pravcicka Gate.
From Bad Schandau you will continue to your final destination Dresden. As we cross the German border you will start to be able to see the differences. A city that has a long history and been through dramatical changes through the years and managed to regain importance as one of the cultural, educational, political and economic centres of Germany. We will finish our biking adventure in Dresden with an intro bike tour of the city.
On the last day you will have time to explore the historical city of Dresden, called The Pearl on Elbe. As the trip come to an end we will offer you different options depending on how you want to continue your trip. We can offer you a transfer back to Prague, you can continue from Dresden according to your own personal itinerary. But do not miss the famous Zwinger Gallery, renovated Virgin Mary church or the historic castle.
